Seoul, Korea | September 21–22, 2026

MicroMediome Co., Ltd. participated in Korea Life Science Week 2026, presenting its microbiome-based platform technologies designed to reshape the human therapeutic microenvironment and support the development of next-generation pharmaceutical and healthcare solutions.

Under the vision “Changing the MICROenvironment. Creating a BETTER LIFE,” MicroMediome introduced its proprietary approach to modulating the biological microenvironment using microbiome-derived technologies.

Microbiome Platform for Combination Cancer Therapy

A major focus of the exhibition was MicroMediome’s pharmaceutical pipeline based on microbiome-mediated modulation of the tumor microenvironment (TME).

The company presented its strategy for converting an immune-excluded “cold” tumor microenvironment into a more immune-responsive “hot” tumor environment, with the goal of enhancing therapeutic response.

In particular, MicroMediome highlighted its triple-combination oncology strategy, integrating:

Radiosensitization + Chemotherapy Synergy + Immune Activation

This platform is being developed as a microbiome-based therapeutic approach designed to enhance the efficacy of conventional cancer treatments by modifying the tumor microenvironment rather than relying solely on direct tumor-cell targeting.

Expanding Microbiome Technology into Healthcare Products

MicroMediome also showcased healthcare products and prototypes derived from its broader microbiome technology platform.

K-BALANCE was introduced as a microbiome-based healthcare food product developed with a focus on daily gut balance, metabolic support, and detox-oriented wellness.

The company also presented a prototype of Recovery Biotics, being developed as a microbiome-based formulation targeting recovery from fatigue, energy metabolism, and brain-health support.

These products demonstrate MicroMediome’s strategy of extending its microbiome expertise beyond pharmaceutical development into practical healthcare applications that can support everyday health and recovery.

Building Global Partnerships

Korea Life Science Week 2026 also provided an important opportunity for MicroMediome to expand its international network.

During the exhibition, the company held discussions with potential partners and stakeholders from several overseas markets, including Spain, the United Kingdom, Russia, China, and Mongolia.

The discussions covered potential opportunities for technology collaboration, product development, market entry, distribution, and future business partnerships.

Through these international exchanges, MicroMediome continues to explore pathways for bringing its microbiome-based pharmaceutical and healthcare technologies to global markets.

From Microenvironment Science to Better Health

MicroMediome is developing an integrated microbiome technology platform spanning pharmaceuticals, healthcare foods, and cosmeceuticals, based on a common concept: human health and therapeutic outcomes can be improved by intelligently reshaping the biological microenvironment.

The company will continue to advance its oncology pipeline while expanding global collaborations and translating its microbiome science into practical solutions for human health.

Changing the MICROenvironment. Creating a BETTER LIFE.
