MicroMediome Presents Its Microbiome Therapeutic Platform at Korea–China Innovation Partnership Forum 2026
Seoul, Korea – September 29, 2026

MicroMediome Co., Ltd. participated in the Korea–China Innovation Partnership Forum 2026, held in Seoul on September 29, presenting its microbiome-based therapeutic platform and global development strategy.
MicroMediome joined the forum as one of the representative companies supported by the Korea University Campus Town program, showcasing its technology to an international audience of entrepreneurs, investors, researchers, and industry professionals.
Microbiome as a Switch for Cancer Therapy
During the IR session, Dr. Wonsuck Yoon, Founder & CEO of MicroMediome, presented the company’s approach to overcoming one of the major challenges in cancer treatment: differences in therapeutic response among patients.
Rather than positioning the microbiome as a replacement for existing cancer therapies, MicroMediome is developing technologies designed to reshape the biological environment in which treatment takes place and enhance the response to established therapies.
The presentation introduced the concept:
“Microbiome as a Switch for Cancer Therapy.”
MicroMediome’s K-BOOST (MBP-Tri-Combo™) platform is being developed as a microbiome-based approach to support combination strategies involving radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and immunotherapy.
The company also presented its research and development capabilities built on more than 20 years of microbiome and host–microbe research, together with its intellectual property and technology commercialization activities.
Expanding Global Open Innovation
The forum provided MicroMediome with an opportunity to introduce its technology to a broader international innovation network and exchange perspectives with participating companies and industry stakeholders.
MicroMediome continues to pursue an open and globally oriented partnership strategy, exploring opportunities for collaborative R&D, technology validation, licensing, investment, and commercialization across international markets.
Participation in the forum also reflects MicroMediome’s ongoing efforts, supported by the Korea University Campus Town ecosystem, to translate academic research into globally applicable biotechnology and therapeutic solutions.
“Our goal is to use the microbiome as a biological switch that can reshape the treatment environment and help existing cancer therapies achieve better responses.”— Dr. Wonsuck Yoon, Founder & CEO, MicroMediome
Through continued research and international open innovation, MicroMediome aims to advance its microbiome platform toward the development of next-generation precision therapeutics for global healthcare.
