MicroMediom, a start-up founded by professors from Korea University College of Medicine, has been honored with the K-R&D Award at the 10th Annual Korea Industry Grand Awards, hosted by MoneyToday, for their outstanding research in microbiome utilization. The company is at the forefront of developing therapeutic strategies and healthcare products based on microbiome technology, focusing on cancer treatment and wellness. Collaborating closely with researchers from Korea University Medical Center, MicroMediom is pioneering microbial material technologies aimed at preventing intractable diseases such as allergies, diabetes, and dementia. With successful execution of Seoul's R&D projects and attracting investment from new technology financiers, MicroMediom is planning clinical trials for its microbial materials, promising to bring forth more innovative achievements in the microbiome healthcare sector.
